Mission Statement:
Luke 14:23 - And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
A ministry to those who need a ride to church, to those in need of a savior, and finally to be a friend to the friendless. A ministry to their souls, not to look down on them, but to love them no matter what into the kingdom.
Past Accomplishments:
A year ago we had an opportunity and drove to New Buffalo Michigan to pick up forty youth for summer camp. And a week later we drove them back. The Bus just this year drove our missionary group to Metro airport to go to Guatemala and then a week later we were able to bring them back home. We had the opportunity the last few years to pick up at two area shelters Carriage Town Ministries and Brothers Keepers. Then we were also able to pick up at a few of the half-way houses in the area.
Future Plans:
Is to pick up more people throughout the city and beyond. The Bus ministry will have enough buses and resources to go beyond the city of Flint and bring people to church. We want to be able to pick up at all the area shelters and be able to reach those who need Jesus the most, such as being able to go into Nu Paths, mentoring and bringing them to church. Reach the lost at any cost.
